Big huge bummer for me. Two of my bikes and a spare wheelset were stolen out of my garage sometime this afternoon, 8/13.
Bike #1: A unique 2008 Specialized S-Works SL2 with a true raw carbon finish and white/silver stripe. There are a few small First Endurance decals as well as Plan 7 Endurance Coaching decals placed on the bike. Built with SRAM Red, a Reynolds DV46 Clincher with Wireless PowerTap and a Roval Star Carbon Clincher front wheel. The cranks are the S-Works Carbon crank. It has a non-adjustable -17degree Barmac handlebar and Time Carbon RXS Titanium spindle pedals.
Bike #2: An even more unique Specialized bike that for 2009 will be badged S-Works Roubaix SL2. The bike is black with a gloss clearcoat and has "Specialized" on both sides of the downtube. There are large First Endurance Decals on both chainstays and Plan 7 Endurance Coaching decals on the front end of the bike. This bike was built with SRAM Red and had a set of Roval Star Carbon Clincher wheels. The cranks are S-Works Carbon. It also was built with a -17degree Barmac handlebar and a set of Time Carbon RXS Cromoly spindle pedals.
The wheels stolen are a set of Reynolds DVUL Tubulars. They have Continental GP4000 tires with Tufo Extreme tape. The decals had been removed.
If you see these bikes or wheels, throw a rock at whoever's head is riding them. Also, send me a note with info.
Thanks!
