    Davis County/Farmington Crit Series

The Ogden Cash crit is almost done for the year. I am thinking about a Thursday night crit at the Davis County Fair grounds, for the rest of summer. It would be a parking lot crit about .5 mile long. Would anyone be interested in coming out to race?

Someone told us that the Ogden Crits were done.  I need to confirm this.  Does anyone know if the last two are going to happen?

I would come down for a crit at the Davis Fairground...

What about a Saturday or Sunday Crit?  Friday night?

Ryan, are you being sarcastic or serious? Do you feel like we have two many week night crits?

Neither.  I would just like to see more weekend crits.  There is a festival in every town along the wasatch front this time of year.  There should be a twilight crit at each of them.

That sounds like a great idea.

     James,

The word I got from the registration lady (why can't I remember her name?) last week was there will be a race on the 24th of July.

    See you there!

Thursday the 24th is the last day for the Cash Crits in Ogden, but don't forget the Snowbasin Crit series that is going throughout the rest of the summer

Snowbasin Crits?  When, where, how much etc.  Is there a website or flyer with info?

    Re: Davis County/Farmington Crit Series

On a departure from the main point of this thread:  I agree with Turbo.

If a town can sponsor a 5k or 10k run and close down some city streets or parking lots for the day, why not extend the street closure three more hours and sponsor a crit or circuit race? Can you imagine the junior turnout for something like that?

It wouldn't need to be a big UCA event, but as a grassroots bike race movement it could be pretty cool.

If the fairground is relatively close to a frontrunner stop, I would do it too...
